LCF will host Louisiana public fleets this fall at a targeted expo and educational event. This free expo will feature vehicles of all kinds, including: CNG, Clean Diesel, Propane and Electric. Want to take them for a test drive? Then take one out for a spin at our Ride & Drive!

Keynote Speaker: Jay Dardenne, Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne was appointed commissioner of the Division of Administration in January 2016 by Gov. John Bel Edwards. In this capacity, he serves as the state’s chief administrative officer. Dardenne was elected twice as Louisiana’s lieutenant governor. He previously served four years as secretary of state, 15 years as a state senator and three years as a Baton Rouge Metro Councilman.

At this State & Municipal Fleet Expo we will explore the ways that state fleets can meet the requirements of the state mandate to purchase alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) while also complying with Energy Policy Act (EPAct) requirements. Our guest speakers will address topics such as: telematics, information on alternative fuel / fuel efficient vehicle availability and fleet options, the CMAQ "Buy American" waiver issue, the state's Volkswagen Mitigation Plan, and innovative procurement strategies that can help public fleets save money on AFV purchases. We will also host targeted workshops for different vehicle and fueling types at this 2-day event.
