Louisiana Clean Fuels invites you to join a free introductory webinar on May 13 to learn about Charging Smart, a national technical assistance and designation program that helps local governments prepare for EV charging deployment.

The Summer Bronze Cohort will officially begin after this webinar and will include monthly virtual support sessions, templates, resources, and one-on-one guidance from Louisiana Clean Fuels.

Participation is free and open to Louisiana municipalities, parishes, MPOs, and other local government entities.

About the Louisiana Charging Smart Summer Cohort: Charging Smart is a free national technical assistance and designation program that helps local governments prepare for the growing deployment of electric vehicles and EV charging infrastructure. Through the Bronze cohort, Louisiana communities will learn practical steps to improve local permitting and zoning processes for EV charging installations, including how to review existing regulations for barriers, create standard permit applications and permitting checklists, coordinate with utilities, and streamline local procedures to better support private investment in charging infrastructure. The program provides templates, technical guidance, peer learning opportunities, and one-on-one support to help communities build a more EV-ready environment while earning national recognition for their efforts.
