We’re excited to share our Summer 2021 Webinar lineup, featuring industry experts, leaders, and innovators in alternative fuels. Mark your calendars for these four upcoming events, which are open now for registration!
On July 14, from 2:00 PM CDT - 3:30 PM CDT, we’ll be reprising our popular 2020 webinar with EV Market Watch: Work Trucks 2021 Update. This session will be focused on all of the options available on the market today and what vehicles are coming soon. Our panel of speakers includes Jared Schnader, the National Program manager for Small Urban and Rural Transit Agencies at CALSTART; Keith Brandis, Vice President or Partnerships and Strategic Solutions at Volvo Group; and Alexander Voets, eMobility Product and Sales Strategy Manager at Daimler Trucks North America. This webinar will provide insights perfect for business owners, fleet managers, and anyone with a general interest in fleet electrification.
Next up, on July 28, from 10:00 AM CDT - 11:30 AM CDT, a great lineup of speakers will present for Charge it! Preparing your Hometown for Electric Transit. In this webinar, Clean Cities coordinators from Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and Kansas will share case studies and best practices to help avoid the pitfalls that can impede plans to deploy EVs and develop an equitable charging infrastructure that fits the needs of a smaller transit system. Guest speakers Eric Austin of Francis Energy and Chris Nielsen of eCab North America will share their experiences working with rural areas on electric vehicle projects.
On August 11, from 12:00 AM CDT - 12:00 AM CDT, Mary Till will lead a webinar on Data Driven Approach to Zero Emissions Vehicles, focusing on ZEV procurement and suitability analysis for State and Municipal Fleets. Till is on the Board of Directors at Denver Metro Clean Cities Coalition and works at Sawatch Labs, where she utilizes data and analytics tools to visualize economic and operational impacts that are critical to successful decision-making. We will have information on additional speakers closer to the event on our social media and website events page.
Our final webinar of the series will be August 25, from 10:00 AM CDT - 11:30 AM CDT. EV Market Watch: Rural Transit Vehicles will profile a variety of electric vehicles to provide transit agencies in small towns and rural areas with information on electric vehicles that will work in their more challenging and varied environments. Speakers, including OEM representatives from Phoenix Motor Cars, BYD, and GreenPower Bus, will join with Clean Cities coordinators and our moderator, Jared Schnader of CALSTART, to discuss options that are available on the market today.
We hope you can join us for this upcoming webinar series! All sessions are open for registration, and we encourage you to share this information with any colleagues or friends who might be interested in learning more about EVs and alternative fuels.
