FOTW# 1174: Over 20,000 New Electric Vehicle Charging Outlets Were Installed in the United States in 2019

In 2009, there were 245 new electric vehicle (EV) charging outlets installed nationwide, but by 2019 that number had risen to more than 20,000 new installations. From 2017 to 2019, about 5,000 new charging outlets were installed each year.
