LA DOTD Launches Interactive Map to Gather Feedback From Louisiana Residents
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD) is developing a statewide EV infrastructure plan that, when built, will enable individuals and businesses who currently own or want to purchase electric vehicles to fuel quickly and safely across the state for work, recreation, and travel.
As part of the planning process, the LA DOTD is requesting feedback from Louisiana residents and businesses regarding their existing and future electric vehicle charging needs through the following feedback methods:
- Survey: Take our short survey to share high level feedback on EV charging priorities and the state's EV Plan
- Email: Send us your detailed feedback on our state's draft EV Charging Infrastructure Plan. Comments should be sent to [email protected] by July 18, 2022. Please note that any emails that were sent before June 15th should be re-submited. There was an issue with the email account that has now been resolved.
- Draft Plan: The draft plan was made available for comment for a period of 30 days. The comment period is now closed.
- Interactive Map: We invite you to use our interactive map to identify new charging sites, preferred charging types and provide comments. The map will remain open for at least one year so that the LA DOTD will be able to continue to update and refine the state's EV Charging Infrastructure plan in response to changes in EV adoption rates and as infrastructure gets funded and installed.
Thank you for helping us design a network of DC Fast Chargers for electric vehicles along designated interstate corridors in Louisiana. Your input on sites where a charger would be beneficial to your commute or travel is greatly needed.
